These song lyrics evoke powerful messages to me.  They resonate with who I was, who I am, or who I will be. Do some songs and their lyrics seem to reflect your life, resonate with you, define you over various eras of your life?  Music has always been big part of my life; sometimes, only music has had the ability to express my feelings and thoughts.  For example, this song and its lyrics communicate a central theme of my life: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ “I Won’t Back Down.”
