What If...

  • What if all millionaires and billionaires were philanthropists to make a difference in the lives of millions of people?

  • What if everyone, every corporation, and every religious organization paid their fair share of taxes to benefit all of us?

  • What if being thin, physically appealing, and not being seem as a “host body” weren't considered important for women to be valued?

  • What if the patriarchy dissolved and society didn’t favor men over women as leaders?

  • What if religions died out and spirituality based on love, compassion, inclusiveness, empathy, and caring for others took its place?

  • What if healthcare for everyone was a priority so that millions of people would benefit?

  • What if food, education, and housing for all were a primary right and provision for everyone?

  • What if pie was healthy and Brussels sprouts were unhealthy?

  • What if your pets could be covered as your children on your health insurance policy?

  • What if as we age, we are more respected, honored for our wisdom, experience and were paid mentors?

  • What if the Supreme Court, Congress, and Executive Branch leadership in the state and federal government had to pass a test on the Constitution to hold their jobs and couldn’t work in government in the highest positions once they are 65?

  • What if body-shaming was a thing of the past?

  • What if higher education or trade schools were free to everyone?

  • What if people planted ‘yardens’ that produce herbs, grow food for their families and their community, and they planted flowers to provide nectar for bees, butterflies, and birds rather than having pristine manicured lawns?

  • What if public servants in local, state, and federal government actually served the people rather than demanding to be served?

  • What if convicted felons were barred from running for office in the government?

  • What if the 1% were prohibited from buying politicians, judges, law enforcement?

  • What if empty church buildings, abandoned malls and stores, and closed theaters were turned into housing for unhomed people?

  • What if children were taught kindness, compassion, empathy, inclusiveness, and how to meditate along with writing, reading, arts, math, and science?

  • What if ‘love-for-your-country’ wasn’t synonymous with dangerous nationalism?

  • What if entertainers and sports players were paid the current salary of teachers and teachers were paid what entertainers and sports players are currently paid?

  • What if the media had a backbone and stood up to censorship?

  • What if diversity, equity/equality, and inclusion were valued and prioritized?

  • What if people who came to this country for a better life were welcomed and a path to citizenship was not as arduous and was not as expensive it is now?

  • What if when the government takes away tax-funded services, taxes were cut for everyone?

  • What if LGBTQ + rights were simply human rights afforded to everyone?

  • What if government officials had to pay for their own personal golf outings and personal travel?

  • What if the government had to provide all citizens the details of how they spend tax dollars?
