66 Things I Know for Sure


  1. “Don’t believe everything you think” (author, Louise Penny).

  2. The present moment is all we have.

  3. This too will pass.

  4. Don’t water dead plants.

  5. Be kind and direct.

  6. Say ‘no’ to more things and ‘yes’ only to what I want.

  7. It is what it is.

  8. Either grow or you will wilt.

  9. I usually get the test first and then the lesson.

  10. Dreams are ideas without a plan.

  11. Sometimes I must be still without impatiently waiting.

  12. Growing older is not a choice; nothing we do will stop aging and nothing we do will stop us from continuously developing.

  13. There are stupid questions.

  14. There are stupid answers.

  15. We have one mouth and two ears, so we need to listen twice as much as we talk.

  16. We are what we eat, what we listen to, what we read, who we hang out with.

  34. Schools should stop requiring all students to take algebra and have them take individual financial literacy instead.

  36. Spiritual connection is necessary, but religion and church attendance is not.

  39. Just because I don’t cry easily doesn’t mean I don’t feel deeply.
